@hitokirimasamun for some reason I imagine basch reminiscing of his past while making his way with the others through the snow unnaffected by the cold weather. he will always be my fav FFXII character– in fact I liked them all, but basch was my number one fav.

reminds me of the time when i saw a level 25 ice elemental in parimina rift…i was like 10 levels ahead of him so i cast silenced on him thinking this would be an easy fight…before i know it, silence misses and he killed me with blizzara then i got mobbed by yetis =(

True, reflect on your whole party and THEN start casting spells at your party. He’ll get three times (or four? I think I remember having a guest in that fight) of that spell^^

You can really see Balthier’s despise for the Empire. Too bad he takes it off on Larsa though during that part of the game.

I challenged Trickster on the 20-30 levels… I wasted 40-60 minutes to beat him down and all of my phoenix downs, it was my only nourishment. I used them like non-stop… One Trickster’s attack and my character is dead, I spent all the battle in the item-menu.

Final Fantasy XII is the best game I have ever played in my whole life. I love it ^^ very nice. Sometimes I go here and Eruyt Village, just to hear the beautiful music.

dam took me about a full 20 mins of fighting fafnir because i had everyones gambit as arise and just made sure fran was behind so he killed 1 or 2 people at a time but never all 3

Fighting Fafnir ( …
Fighting Fafnir (although I did it the cheap way at a pretty low level) and Trickster were some of the more interesting battles in the game.
This song is one of my favorites in FFXII and it really fit the setting, which is also one of the better ones in the game.
