What should a father do when his ten year old daughter comes home with a real tattoo on her body?

What should a father do when his ten year old daughter comes home with a real tattoo on her body? Her mother allowed her to have it, because that is what she wanted.

Leave her alone, she will regret it later when she gets older trust me. My mother let me have a tattoo as a teen and when I got older and more mature, trying to hide it for interviews, jobs, and at church, I regretted it then. That’s only if she says on the straight and narrow, but with a concerned dad I think she will.

  1. Maybe, if you have the proper authority and money, get it removed.

Jeez, for a ten year old to have a tattoo is pretty…well, I think you understand.

Wash it off, because it’s probably fake. Unless there’s some rule somewhere I don’t know about. Tattoo places won’t tattoo anyone under 18 without parental consent.

    _edit_
Oh,and that mother is nuts! A child doesn’t know what they want at that age,and giving into them would NOT be very smart!

I would tell her that if her mom is able to make those choices then her mom can buy her her school clothes and supplies every year, give her rides if she needs to go somewhere, and pretty much not do anything for her for a long time. I’d be livid….

  6. I would sue the mother! That is sick, letting a 10 year old child get a tattoo, that’s illegal.

But if you don’t want to go that route, save up some money, and have it removed. That "mother" of hers has no mind at all…

  8. Sue wherever she got it done, and use the money you win for laser removal – painful but im thinking a necessary and deserved pain, and apply for full custody – you now have a pretty good case against the mother.

  9. I would be very concerned that a tattoo shop did this – it is illegal in the UK under 18!!, I would write a letter to the shop in the first instance asking why they did this and have a calm but serious conservation with the Mother.

What next? a tongue piercing at 11?!

  10. find out where she got it, and sue the place the mother can get in trouble for allowing such a thing at such a young age. Sue the place she got it from, tatooing a minor is illigal, parental consent or not she is not even a teenager

    Mary had a little Troll
    Little Troll, Little Troll
    Mary had a little Troll
It’s fur was brown as shit

    And everywhere that Mary went,
    Mary went, Mary went,
    Everywhere that Mary went
The Troll was sure to go

It stalked her to school one day
School one day, school one day
It stalked her to school one day
    Which was against the rules.

It made the children scream and run,
Laugh and play, laugh and play,
It made the children scream and run
To see a Troll at school
