What is the real significance of this William Blake poem?

What does that mean to you, in a metaphysical sense?

I am a William Blake fan and his poems touch me deeply.

This particular poem will resonate with those who have experienced Oneness, or glimpses of Oneness.

It is all about the feelings that one experiences in those moments. That timeless infinite moment where time does not exist, and all becomes One.

Line 1. The sensing of the All when contemplating one tiny aspect, such as a grain of sand.

Line 2. Heaven (blissful joy), while seemingly contemplating a small part of creation (a wild flower), but experiencing and becoming One with it and with All.

Line 3 and 4. Infinity and Eternity. This is a description of the feeling we have when we have moved into the Timeless moment. Infinity and Eternity both lie outside the realms of Time, and can only be known and experienced in that space.

In my humble opinion that is what he is trying to describe here. He has described very well, something that really is quite indescribable and can really only be experienced, rather than written about.

Just a personal viewpoint.

William Lane Craig attacks atheists, calls them all boring and angry

In this video, William Lane Craig engages in nearly 6 minutes of personal attacks. He accuses atheists of possessing no intellectual or philosophical sophistication, while he commits a nonstop string of ad hominem attacks and strawman fallacies.

I am putting the video here for review and criticism purposes. Although I have added commentary, I think it is best to let him speak for himself, since that will show better than anything else how awful he is.

William and Kate Living together, Mother to heir must be a virgin upon marriage?

If I recall correctly, lady Diana had to be certified "intacta" (virginal) before marriage to Charles in order to qualify to give birth to the next Heir to the throne of England. The mother of the heir to the throne must be a virgin upon marriage. If William and Kate are living together, they are obviously having sex and therefore she is not a virgin. Is this okay with everyone?

There has never been a law or rule about this, and there is no "certification" process. At the time Diana and Charles married, it was considered rather important that the bride didn’t seem to have a "past," but attitudes in the royal family have changed. After all, Sarah Ferguson wasn’t a virgin, and in the event of a disaster, Andrew could have ended up heir; Sophie Wessex wasn’t one either by all appearances.

There was no examination to certify virginity. That whole idea has been debunked. The royal family did apparently want to be assured that there was no reason to think she couldn’t have children, that she was basically healthy, but that’s rather different from certifying virginity.

What is the most thorough defense of the resurrection of Jesus by William Lane Craig?

I have read Reasonable Faith and would now like to read a book by William Lane Craig that deals solely with the resurrection. Naturally I want the book which is the most thorough. He is a decent apologist and so I have decided it would be worth my while to read his defense along with those of Swinburn, Habermas, and Wright as well as my skeptical treatment of the resurrection by Allison.

I wouldn’t expect too much, William Lane Craig is a joke. Like every apologist, he just trots out the same old shtick and expects us to suddenly not realize it’s based on fallacies.
