How much can a mother keep a child from his/her father despite a joint custody order in Wisconsin. The father is a good man that has values and is a good father. There’s no legitmate reason for the mothers actions. It appears to only be out of spite. She has a proven history of drug abuse and neglect. The mother collects disability. The father (non drink/non smoker) has always worked to make a good living. What gives?

Perhaps only as long as he goes without challenging her in a legal process. Take an action and request the Court to remedy the situation immediately and set forth her responsibility to pay for the fees, including your attorney. If you have no funds, go to your local legal aid society and ask for their help as a father with Court ordered visitation. Wisconsin has some law requiring the custodial parent to have a Court produced placement order when the parents have Court ordered legal joint custody. Go to Court and demand your rights….and enforce the rights of your child to know its father.

The father is my sisters boyfriend and they just had a kid. The father is black but put on the certificate that he is japanese.
He didn’t make a mistake and has this thing where he wishes/believes that he is japanese. He will not change it I was just curious what trouble he could get into.

Why did he do that??? I’m not sure but women have been sued for lying about child’s father and knowingly putting down a mans name as father when he’s not.
I would get it changed as soon as possible and maybe just say he ticked the wrong box by accident. It’s an important piece of paper that the child will have with them for the rest of their lives you can’t get a passport or open a bank account without one the information MUST be correct.

I’ve decided to get more into cigar smoking and looking into getting my own humidor/cutter/lighter for a decent price. I’ve searched through Google and I can’t find a combo of those three for a decent price.

Your best bet is to go to a smoke shop. If you have a discount smoke shop (smokes for less in new york) they will usually have deals like that. The people are usually friendly and are more than happy to help you out.

I’m planning on drawing a loving couple hugging each other and the man’s height it 6′8" while the woman’s height is 5′4". How in the world can I draw them having the most passionate hug imaginable?

i would suggest going for the man picking the girl up in his arms. because of the height difference

I am planning on entering the novel contest.
I am best at horror/dark fantasy, but I am afraid they want something with a more realistic-fiction feel to it.

There are NO specifications or restrictions on content and subject matter in The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Students may approach any subject they choose and original, creative thinking is encouraged. There are two special themed based scholarships at the national level: The Creativity & Citizenship Award: Art for Social Change(works of art and writing that address contemporary social issues) and the New York Life Award (works of art and writing that deal with loss and bereavement).

So, while the judges will have their own preferences and biases, they’re supposed to give every entry a fair hearing, and they’re not supposed to refuse to give the prize to something just because of its subject matter. But look at it this way – if you do well in this contest and get some publicity out of it, people will expect you to carry on writing stories that are similar in style and genre to your winning entry. He tells me he is superficial and only dates girls who are good looking.

I have known him for over 2 years now, and from the start he wanted to date me. We have been going out for about a year now.

I feel so insecure because I know he likes girls who are good looking.

I feel like he should not be with me – and find someone else.

I feel like I am not what he wants.

Is there any way to save this relationship?

You said yourself that he said he is "superficial and only dates girls who are good looking" and he has been with you for a year now and has wanted to be with you for two years, so I would say stop feelings insecure, he thinks you are very attractive aparently :]

Also there does have to be attraction there for a relationship to last, BUT there are other things that should also be important, like how he treats you, or how he makes you feel. If he is making you feel unimportant or insecure, then maybe you should tell him how you feel. Just remember, most guys don’t think that they should have to tell you that you are beautiful everyday. They assume that since they are with you that you should already know how they feel or think about you. Annoying, I know. But that’s just how it is.

My father has been seeing another woman and fully intends to divorce my stepmother but hasn’t told her yet. My stepmother and I have a bad past, and we haven’t spoken in several years. But I still feel that what my father is doing and planning is wrong, and I feel like I should tell her. At the same time, I also feel that maybe it isn’t any of my business and to just stay out of it and keep my mouth shut. What should I do?

Honey, this is between the two of them entirely. I don’t doubt your Step Mother by now is not in the dark about things that have been going on & it shouldn’t be such a surprise as you think it may be! Also, if you haven’t had the "best past" over the yrs., this would NOT be the time or the thing that should be discussed, far from it! Let them work it out themselves & just keep things to yourself, especially in this case. Not knowing all that’s been going on between them, it just may be something they’ve already talked over & agreed on. Just stay out of the picture & try to stay neutral regarding "their" situation…best to you, I know you mean well…:)

Need help finding a couple examples of prejudice and stupidity that occur during the trial in "To Kill a Mockingbird".

prejudice – All the blacks are at the back up the stairs in the hottest part of the courthouse.
stupidity – When the father claims his daughter was fairly treated at home.

I was wondering how would my partner go about and get full custody and making the father of her kid sing all his rights away?? She has a boy that is 15 months and I guess the father hasent once came by to see him nor try to get in contact. From my understanding he has no care in the world to be his father… And also he dose pay child support.

Once your partner odopts him and takes full custody the original father will not have pay childsupport I’m sure he’ll go for it without a problem
